When we started this business our only goal was to make great wine at a price point those closest to us could afford. With that in mind we are thrilled to release the fifth vintage of our PIPA White and the second vintages of our PIPA Red & Orison Rosé.

In the creation of these wines, we are honored to have worked in close contact with legendary Portuguese winemaker Luis Duarte. Luis has been at the heart and soul of the Alentejo region for more than 30 years and his expertise has accelerated our quest to become one of the most respected producers in Portugal.

2016 Orison Wines Rosé - $16 / bottle

ORISON’s 2015 ROSE is a charming blend of Tempranillo, Touriga Nacional, Castelao & Syrah. Inspired by our love of Spring, the 2015 showcases bright strawberry, stone, rose petal and citrus. Produced from the same fruit we use to make our core wines, the wine is flavorful, complex and filled with a vibrant texture. Add a picnic to the mix and you have yourself a brilliant pairing.

2016 Orison Wines Pipa White Blend - $21 / bottle

ORISON’s 2015 PIPA White is an approachable yet focused blend of Arinto, Antão Vaz, and Alvarinho. With fruit sourced from several of the most important vineyards in Alentejo, Portugal, the wine was fermented in stainless steel and aged in oak. Hand battonage, the process of stirring the lees in-barrel, uniquely influences the evolving texture and profile of the wine, highlighting a depth of mineral and fruit, clean-citrus, melon, and stone. ORISON’s 2014 PIPA Red is an eclectic blend of Tempranillo, Trincadeira & Alicante Bouschet. A wine of both texture and style, the 2014 looks to showcase the more delicate side of Portuguese red wine. Captivating in its level of energy and fruit, our intention with this wine was that of enjoyment and youthful consumption above all else. Notes of spiced strawberry, raspberry, black pepper, vanilla and smoke unfold in what we consider one of the top red wines you will ever taste at this price.
